There are still many of you tortured by the knowledge about the Microsoft patch KB976002, where you have to choose between internet browsers.
There are two quick ways how to stop drawing attention to the selection of the browser:
- When opens a window with a list of browsers, click on one you already have installed and warnings will stop appearing
- Correction in the register; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ BrowserChoice value for Enable must be 0 (zero).
If you still want to remove this patch, then there are complex instructions about uninstalling browser choice (look at Chris’ comments), but I think the above two are effective enough.
