Using Windows 7 and UAG 2010 and have all windows update? Than you have problem using RDP app trough UAG. There is a solution.
Some users recently contacted me that they have problems connecting with any RDP app (remote app application, RDP user defined, RDP gateway or VDI) in UAG 2010. Microsoft have updated RDP on version 8, but forget to upgrade UAG 2010 too, to be compatible with this version of RDP services. Problem started with November’s upgrade. After this release of RDP, you cannot using it through UAG 2010.
If you using UAG and you cannot connect remotely using RDP and you having error: “Your computer can’t connect to the remote computer because an error occurred on the remote computer that you want to connect to. Contact your network administrator for assistance,†don’t worry, because it’s a quick resolve to this problem.
How to resolve problem? Uninstall Microsoft patch KB 2592687 . It only impact Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008.
Until the service pack 3 for UAG 2010 will not come out (Microsoft is planning in first quarter of 2013 to release sp3) I advise you, to deny installing kb 2592687 trough WSUS.
