In SharePoint 2013 Server a lot of things change and changing theme is not excluded. When we change a theme for main page we want to use it in subsites as well. How to inheritance theme on subsite?
Theme inheritance on subsite
First we go to Site Settings and under Site Actions click on Manage site features. Feature SharePoint Server Publishing must be set on active.
In Site Settings under Look and Feel we now have another option Master Page. Settings must be set on:
- inherit site master page from parent of this site
- inherit system master page from parent of this site
